The valve cap of the truck tire has to be unscrewed and replaced by the P-Eye. The P-Eye has a pre-determined minimum pressure. If the tire pressure drops 5% below the ideal pressure and drops therefore automatically below the pre-determined pressure, the LED-light will start blinking. The driver easily sees that the tire pressure in the concerned tire is too low and is able to return the pressure to the desired level.
