Van Lier – Van der Lans waste collection trucks fitted with P-Eye tire pressure sensors
Waste processing company Van Lier – Van der Lans in Poeldijk is fitting its entire fleet of vehicles with P-Eye tire pressure sensors. The striking blue trucks will henceforth be driving with P-Eyes on the tires that ensure that the trucks are operating with the correct tyre pressure. Driving with the correct tire pressure enables Van Lier – Van der Lans to reduce its C02 emissions.

With P-Eye fitted to the tires the fleet of blue vehicles always operates with the correct tire pressure, and this saves fuel and reduces the accompanying CO2 emissions.
P-Eye is a tire pressure sensor that is fitted to the existing valve. The P-Eye has an LED light that flashes when the tire pressure drops below the predetermined alarm value. The P-Eye shows whether a tire has the correct pressure at a glance, making it many times easier to check the vehicles.
‘We find it very important to burden the environment as little as possible.
